ABOUT

What do you love about music?
What I love about music is how it gives us a voice when words aren’t enough. It has the power to comfort, to celebrate, and to connect us with others in the most beautiful way. For me, music has always been both a safe space and a source of joy…and that’s what I hope to share with my students.

Who is your favorite artist?
Jon McLaughlin

What are your top 5 desert island albums?
Indiana – Jon McLaughlin
Bulería – David Bisbal
The Phantom of the Opera – Original 1986 London Cast
21 – Adele
House of Miracles – Brandon Lake

Do you play in a band or currently perform?
I just got married and moved to Fort Wayne, and I can’t wait to dive into the music scene here! My most recent gig was playing at a large church back in Pittsburgh, and I’m excited to see what new opportunities for music-making are ahead in this new chapter.

BIOGRAPHY

Lauren Rojas is thrilled to share her love for music with students. A Pittsburgh native, she has performed, taught, and explored music across the US and Europe. She graduated magna cum laude from Westminster College with degrees in music education and Spanish and has worked with students of all ages — from beginners to those pursuing advanced musical goals.

For Lauren, teaching isn’t just about technique; it’s about creating a space where students feel confident to explore, to make mistakes, and to grow. Whether you’re performing in local ensembles, earning leads in musical theater, joining youth orchestras and choirs, or gaining acceptance into prestigious music schools, Lauren can help you progress in ways that are fun, personalized, and meaningful.

Outside of teaching, Lauren enjoys traveling, discovering Fort Wayne’s dining and music scenes, and attending concerts or Fever games with her husband, Eric.
