Academy of Music & Technology Coordinator

Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments is seeking to hire an Academy Coordinator to add to our growing Academy team. The Academy Coordinator is primarily responsible for all communication with our current and future customers via phone, email, and in person. They will be responsible for payment collection, lesson scheduling, and acquiring new students. With performance events and camps throughout the year, the Academy Coordinators assist the Director in planning and executing these events. The Academy Coordinator is also responsible for communicating with instructors regarding their students and schedule.

This is a full-time role requiring evenings and weekends:


  • Monday: 12:00PM – 9:00PM
  • Tuesday: 12:00PM – 9:00PM
  • Wednesday: 12:00PM – 9:00PM
  • Thursday: Off
  • Friday: Off
  • Saturday: 8:00AM – 4:00PM
  • Wednesday: 11:00AM – 5:00PM
Responsibilities:
  • Communicating with all current and future students regarding scheduling, billing, events, and Academy policies via phone, email, and in person.
  • Processing payments/payment collection
  • Assisting with event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Interacting with instructors and coordinating instructor schedules
Qualifications:
  • A strong background in retail or customer service
  • An impeccable attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task in an incredibly fast-paced environment
  • A friendly, outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • A background in music education and knowledge of the product Sweetwater offers is a HUGE plus

Voice Instructor

Sweetwater, the nation’s number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is looking for a passionate, experienced Vocal Instructor at our Academy of Music and Technology! In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with the area’s top instructors and hundreds of students of all skill levels. Duties will include teaching private 1on1 lessons, lesson planning, communicating with The Academy of Music and Technology team, and interacting with students/parents.


Our academy is looking for availability in the evening and on the weekend.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and instructing all scheduled students
  • Ensure that each and every student has an excellent lesson experience
  • Instructing and guiding students of all ages and skill levels to meet their musical goals
  • Develop an appropriate lesson plan based on student skill level
Qualifications:
  • Music degree and/or significant prior teaching experience
  • Passion for helping students grow musically
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
