BIOGRAPHY
For over 30 years, Matt Kenealy has shared his guitar playing skills with the world. While he played in many live bands in his early college years, his primary focus has been recording. He’s created music for many bands, including BSD, Hummingbird Recall, and Snowfall, ranging in musical genres from industrial to metal, blues, and even world music. He has more than a decade of experience in writing and recording soundtracks for a multitude of short films. He comes from a long line of musicians and teachers, which has imparted in him a lifetime of knowledge in musical structure and lesson preparation for students. Matt’s degrees in sociology and philosophy help him create unique lesson plans customized to each student’s needs. His background has equipped him with the necessary tools to give students an enriching, enlightening musical experience.
