Marnée (Marn-ay) Jenkins began playing guitar at the age of six and was performing onstage by the age of nine. At the age of 11, Marnée was featured at the grand opening gala of Lucas Oil Stadium along with John Mellencamp and Stephen Stills. By age 12, she started showcasing for major labels such as Atlantic and Sony Records, and by age 14 she had opened for Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Chris Issak, Rick Springfield, and many others.
