Whether you want to strum just for fun, or you want to take your playing to a new level, Kenny's approach to teaching allows you to learn in a no-pressure, low-stress environment. Every student is taught according to their personal needs and ability, so once you learn the basics you can start working on more advanced goals right away. With more than 30 years of experience performing and teaching guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and lap steel, Kenny has an affinity for '50s rockabilly, surf instrumental, '60s soul, blues, bluegrass, honky-tonk, finger-picking style, and '70s funk. While touring both nationally and internationally with his rockabilly band, The Blue Moon Boys, Kenny has opened for such guitar legends as Bo Diddley, James Burton, Dick Dale, Link Wray, Brian Setzer, and for bands like Cheap Trick, Gov't Mule, and The Ohio Players, to name a few. The Blue Moon Boys also performed two nights in Liverpool, England at the Cavern Club.
