What do you love about music?
I love the emotional connection I feel when I listen to music, sing, or play an instrument. It takes me to a place like nothing else will.
Who is your favorite artist?
I would say that it has changed over the years — and it is hard to pin down my exact favorite. But right now — it would have to be Carrie Underwood. I love the way she can manipulate her voice — I love her charismatic stage presence — I love her song choices and I love the fact that she is a versatile performer.

Do you play in a band or currently perform?
I currently do not play in a band, but I do perform every day as a music teacher. My day is filled with musical performances and teaching. So I sing and play piano almost every day. I have spent years being a worship leader but am currently not on a team.
