ABOUT

What do you love about music?
I love teaching music, learning new-to-me violin repertoire, and collaborating and performing with other musicians. I love that music is a language spoken all over the world. Music continues to play a central role in the activities I enjoy most with my husband, which include watching movies, playing video games, and traveling.

Who is your favorite artist?
Hilary Hahn

What are your top five desert-island albums?
Discovery — Daft Punk
Hisaishi Meets Miyazaki Films — Joe Hisaishi
Masters of the Bow — various artists
A Charlie Brown Christmas — Vince Guaraldi
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness — Smashing Pumpkin

Do you play in a band or currently perform?
I regularly perform with the Plymouth Strings at Plymouth Congregational Church of Fort Wayne and am part of a duo with cellist Martyna Bleke.
