Our curriculum incorporates various languages, rhythms, instruments, and cultures to give exposure to world music while developing fine and gross motor skills in a fun, inviting environment.
Sweetwater Academy is thrilled to welcome Audrey Davis, our newest instructor for Tiny Musicians. You and your child will love Audrey’s playful teaching style. Audrey recognizes the importance of music and movement at a young age, having danced throughout her childhood with her older sister. Her love for artistic self-expression continued during her three years of graduate and post-graduate studies of art, theology, and music in Rome, Italy. Audrey discovered the benefit of incorporating rhythmic, musical play and movement into daily life with her own young daughter. She hopes that your child will gain this foundation to bring years of fun, confidence, and cultural engagement to their own life. Explore the power of music with Audrey and your child during Tiny Musicians classes at Sweetwater!
Esther Coplin has traveled around the globe playing the flute for international and local audiences. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she studied flute performance. She has performed in the Wind Youth Orchestra Project, Domaine Forgét program, and the IPFW Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall. These experiences broadened her understanding and appreciation both for music and the lovely people who create it. Esther incorporates these elements into her teaching style, encouraging students to explore music’s many benefits for the mind, body, and soul.
