Singing before he could talk, Nate’s musical heritage has deep roots. Bohemian ancestry gave way to his grandpa, who was a jazz guitar and bass player with the Clyde McCoy Orchestra. Both of his parents, and most of his aunts, uncles, and cousins are a professional musician of some sort, with his Grammy award-winning cousin John Proulx being the most notable.

The family joke is that you have to audition before marrying into the family. Luckily his wife of 8 years was a MuEd and Vocal Performance major. They currently have 3 musically up-and-coming kids.

Nate has a BFA in Music Technology from the University of Michigan, and went on to teach Elementary General music and band direct for 10 years. At the same time, he freelanced his way into recording and mixing for short films, as well as using his many other talents in Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design.
