Nate Proulx’s musical heritage has deep roots. His grandfather was a jazz guitar and bass player with the Clyde McCoy Orchestra. His parents and most of his aunts, uncles, and cousins are professional musicians, with his Grammy Award–winning cousin John Proulx being the most notable. The family joke is that you must audition before marrying into the family. Luckily his wife of eight years majored in music education and vocal performance. They currently have three musically up-and-coming kids.

Nate earned his BFA in music technology from the University of Michigan. He taught elementary general music and band direction for 10 years while recording and mixing for short films and doing freelance gigs. With these combined experiences, Nathan can help you create a quality sound that’s all your own.
