What do you love about music?

I love the nearly endless range of emotion and imagery music can evoke and how each musical experience is unique. I'm also drawn to exploring the wealth of live, recorded, and written music that exists, it's a lifetime challenge!

Lately I have been enjoying James Markey of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

I've been fortunate recently to be playing in the Sweetwater Allstars and the Klaberheads (Franz Klaber Orchestra).

Jamie Foster is a trombone player and teacher from Fort Wayne, IN. He is a graduate of East Noble High School, received a B.M.E. from Purdue Fort Wayne and a M.M. from Bowling Green State University. He works with many great musicians from Indiana and Ohio, and enjoys teaching students of all types. He is extremely grateful to his teachers who have included Jim Swartzlander, Phil Zint, Aaron King, Scott Oliver, Alex Brough, David Cooke, Garth Simmons, Dr. William Mathis, Dr. Brittany Lasch, Dr. Joshua Bynum and many others.
