What do you love about music?
Music is something that transcends intellect, culture, language, and age. Music can be enjoyed, learned, and performed by absolutely anyone and I think that is truly beautiful.

Who is your favorite artist?
James Campbell, a Canadian clarinetist (who happens to be my first teacher!)

Do you play in a band or currently perform?
I play in the band and orchestra at PFW, but I have also subbed with Symphony of the Lakes and played numerous gigs across the state.



Jacob Bricker is a performer and teacher from Columbus, Indiana, who frequently performs in bands and orchestras in the Fort Wayne area. He has studied clarinet performance at Indiana University and Purdue University Fort Wayne and maintains a private studio of students from all over the state. Jacob has taught marching band, sectionals, and private lessons at some of the most renowned high school music programs in the U.S., including Carmel High School and Homestead High School. When not performing or teaching, Jacob enjoys sailing and playing with his two cats, Boo and Chino.
