BIOGRAPHY
Megan Vanacore is an east coast native, originally getting her start singing in her church in Guilford, CT. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and relocated to Fort Wayne after graduating from NYU with a master’s degree in Classical Voice Performance and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. While in Albany, she was an instructor at Patrizio Center for the Arts and, later in NYC, an adjunct faculty member at NYU, teaching her own private studio of voice students. Megan has always loved teaching and performing, especially opera and musical theater, but is also passionate about food and coffee, having been a barista for many years prior to moving to Fort Wayne. Outside of her time at the Academy front desk, Megan likes to sing, travel, learn new things, cook for her friends, and play with her pug, Belle.
